Latest Obsession: Green & Leopard

Green has always been one of my favorite colors and so has leopard print. I don't know where this latest obsession has sprung from other than the fact that I think green and leopard print look good together--it's unexpected and chic. When shopping lately, I've also been thinking of ways to incorporate this color scheme more into my wardrobe. And here are some ideas for yours:

I love the idea of an iconic green coat paired with leopard pants. Basically, this screams, We will never go out of style! To keep it classic, pair it with an ivory draped blouse, Chelsea boots, and a classic black satchel.

Of course you'll have to pry my boyfriend jeans off my cold, dead legs. While I usually just steal my own boyfriend's jeans, I loved this pair by J.Crew. I also wanted this look to be a little bit more rock n roll so, of course leopard print is an automatic go. This time, I loved the idea of a leopard tank with a blazer layered overtop. I'm also in love with another trend right now--mules. Picking a green pair; however, really makes this outfit pop. Since I didn't want to take away from the color combo, I picked a basic black clutch to pull everything together.

And lastly, I decided to pick an office-appropriate version. I started with these gorgeous velvet green pants by Emilio Pucci and paired it with a simple white blouse (with black bow of course). Since we're hanging out in the cubicles, I wanted a somewhat matching green blazer to pull everything together. An easy way to bring in prints to any outfit is with your shoes. I especially love the idea of a classic pointed-toe pump (for the office). I finished the outfit off with a classic camel-colored jacket, gold watch, and furry purse.

What do you think, so on-trend or absolutely dreadful?
