Ever since I was a child in the mountain valleys of Virginia, I have been obsessed with fashion and have always had a strong sense of my own style--ask my mother who will tell you that I refused to let her pick out my clothes by the tender age of three. My first fashion inspirations were Kelly Bundy from Married With Children and my older half-sisters.
In high school, I became obsessed with fashion magazines, particularly Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. I loved the world of high fashion and eventually began creating my own clothes and shopping at thrift stores scrounging for vintage and/or unique pieces. But, at the end of the day, jeans, t-shirts, and my Chucks were my favorite outfit.
Today, my fashion has become a mixture of all these things: a little bit chic and a little bit tomboy.
